Laura Demetrician, LMFT

I received a Bachelors of Arts in Ministry and Sociology at Southeastern Bible College (now Southeastern University) in Lakeland, Florida and a Master Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. I completed a 2-year certification in Spiritual Direction from Christos Center near Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
My experience includes therapy with individuals and couples in private practice, in a transitional living center for women and children, and at a non-profit organization specializing in couples education.
I work with individuals and couples desiring change and growth in their lives and relationships.  I thoroughly enjoy working with people as they learn, challenge themselves, and strive for emotional and relational growth.
I work primarily with adults, individuals, couples and families who are working through relational challenges, trauma and grief, depression, anxiety, and life changes. I have been trained in EMDR.
In my spare time, I love watercoloring, hiking the Ice Age Trail (I am 20% done), outdoor concerts, and visiting my adult children.
